The CEO
Dr. Dulce P. Estrella-Gust is the CEO, and Senior Consultant of ZAP Occupational Health and Safety Consultancy Services.
She is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas and is part of the prestigious Top 400 Thomasians awarded for excellence in their respective fields during the University’s Quadricentennial celebration, as a TOTAL “Safety and Health should be everyone’s priority, not just inside the workplace but also at home, in schools, and in the community “ awardee. Valuing theimportance of continuous learning, Dr. Gust pursued the Diploma in Psychological Medicine, in the University of London, England and Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene at Mahidol University, Thailand. To continue her academic experience, she went to Turin and Rome, Italy, and Annecy, France for ILO training programs on OSH-Managment System and SOLVE.
Dr. Dulce Gust has a long professional experience in international, national and grassroots communities., as well as in the academe In the years 1997 to 2009, she served as the Executive Director of the Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) of the Philippines. She also worked as professorial lecturer for the University of the Philippines-School of Labor and Industrial Relations (UP-SOLAIR). In 2005, she was named as the First Honorary Fellow of the Philippine College of Occuptional Medicine (PCOM). She worked in collaboration with the International Labor Organization, and other international agencies (WHO, World Bank, UNEP, UNICEF.
Finally to continue her work on OSH from international arena, to government service; she joined the private sector and founded ZAPOHS 14 years ago to address the most urgent concerns on various aspects of occupational safety and health. With a commitment to further improve the situation of Safety and Health in the country, Dr. Gust through ZAPOHS Consultancy Services vows to continuously provide quality OSH management services, quality trainings, research as her participation continues in the scene of Occupational Safety and Health in the Philippines. Currently she is the President of OSHCCAP, Incorporated.
